Our principal and staff

Our school team is committed to every student’s learning, wellbeing and sense of belonging. We work together to create a supportive and inclusive school where every child is set up for success.

Welcome from our principal

Our philosophy to education in the primary school years is embedded in the belief that children should be allowed to relish the joys of childhood for as long as possible. We understand that the challenges of high school and adolescence are significant, and it is essential for children to preserve the innocence and curious freedom that define their early years.

At UPS, we strive to create a learning environment where students not only love their teachers but also feel safe, engaged, and eager to come to school each day. We want our students to leave school excited to share their experiences with their families. While literacy and numeracy will always remain fundamental academic priorities, we balance this with a compassionate approach to wellbeing—nurturing physical, social, and emotional development to build resilience.

If you want your child to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally, UPS is the place to be.
